The Story Behind the Collection
Not Made for Everyone.
Made for You.
Three decades of playing tennis, coaching in Dorset, around the UK and abroad — and still the sport gives me more than I can give back.
Whether you play or simply love watching, you will appreciate why these collections are special — for yourself and for gifting. Each edition is a distinct world of flavours and tastes for the discerning palate. Each jar a small moment of joy.
I am Caroline Gossage. The same values that shape a great tennis player — patience, precision, an uncompromising attention to what matters — found their way quite naturally from the court into my kitchen. What began as something I made for people I wanted to give something to became something those people asked for again, and told others about. The Courtside Collection™ was never designed as a product. It grew from a genuine love of making things properly and sharing them with people who appreciate the difference.
So that is what I do. Each batch is small by design — not as a marketing strategy, but because quality at scale is a contradiction. Every jar is handcrafted in Dorset using seasonal ingredients and traditional methods. When a batch is gone, it is gone. When the next one is ready, the people who reserved first hear first.
Each edition follows the Grand Slam calendar — four tournaments, four collections, four moments in the tennis year that mean something to those of us who live by it. The flavours are not random. The palettes are not arbitrary. Every detail connects back to the atmosphere, the tradition, and the feeling of being courtside at the moment that matters.
This is not a shop. It is a small, personal offering — from someone who makes things properly for people who appreciate them. If that is you, I would love to hear from you.
“Spread with intention.”
